Wemade Promotes Blockchain Platform WEMIX Worldwide... Attends US 'GDC 2022'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Wemade has launched a full-scale global market expansion with the opening of GDC (Game Developers Conference) held locally in the United States.
Wemade officially participates in GDC, held from the 21st (local time) to the 25th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, with the largest scale of 60 booths among domestic companies.
They introduce the WEMIX platform, a global blockchain platform, featuring coins, NFTs, and DeFi (decentralized finance) functions.
They are also preparing active business meetings related to game onboarding with global game companies and blockchain developers participating in GDC. In particular, they plan to enhance their status in the global market by participating as a diamond sponsor, the highest tier, alongside Meta, Microsoft (MS), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Intel.
Additionally, on the 22nd, Wemade CEO Jang Hyun-guk will give a presentation titled “Play and Earn (P&E): Transforming Games with Blockchain Economy” at the GDC Summit. Following this, a total of four presentation sessions are scheduled, including in-depth lectures by Vice President Kim Seok-hwan and the WEMIX business and development teams.
Meanwhile, starting with GDC, Wemade plans to prepare a global roadshow (WIN2022) this year to meet game and blockchain developers from around the world, seek business opportunities, and solidify its position as a global blockchain platform.
