A Dispute at a Bar Leads to Weapon Being Wielded
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] A Chinese man in his 40s who wielded a weapon on the street after a dispute at a bar was arrested by the police.
The Guro Police Station in Seoul announced on the 22nd that they have arrested and are investigating Mr. A (44) on charges of aggravated assault.
Mr. A is accused of calling Mr. B (58), also Chinese, out to the street after a dispute at a bar in Guro-gu around 8:47 PM on the 20th, where he allegedly wielded a weapon he had and caused injury.
It is known that Mr. A was drinking with three companions at the bar when he got into a dispute with Mr. B, who was drinking at another table. After a report was made to the police, Mr. A fled the scene.
The police confirmed through closed-circuit television (CCTV) that Mr. A took a taxi and made an emergency arrest.
