Applying for Startups... KT Opens Recruitment for Bridge Lab 1st Cohort
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 20th that it is recruiting the first cohort of the startup and venture growth support program ‘Bridge Lab 1st Generation,’ which supports startups and ventures in technology fields that can collaborate with KT.
‘KT Bridge Lab’ is a startup acceleration program where startups propose commercialization ideas, and KT along with professional accelerators review them together to create business collaboration and investment opportunities.
The recruitment fields include ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI)·Big Data ▲Artificial Intelligence Contact Center (AICC) ▲Digital Logistics ▲Cloud·Internet Data Center (IDC) ▲Metaverse·Non-Fungible Token (NFT), which are areas where collaboration with KT is possible. After document screening and presentation evaluation, about 10 promising startups and ventures in the respective fields will be selected.
Selected companies will receive commercialization support funds, mentoring from professional accelerators, KT, and external experts, as well as opportunities to discover business collaboration with KT.

The first cohort will start with an inauguration ceremony in May and continue acceleration until October. At the final ‘Pitching Day,’ companies will be awarded through an investor relations (IR) session and commercialization proposal presentations. The total commercialization support funds and prize money will amount to approximately 200 million KRW.
