Virtual Artist Apoki Participates in Japan's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Metaverse Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Aifun Interactive, a startup specializing in virtual intellectual property (IP) production, announced on the 17th that virtual artist Apoki will participate in the metaverse event of Japan's fashion festival, Tokyo Girls Collection.
Tokyo Girls Collection is Japan's largest fashion festival held twice a year since August 2005. The event features popular local Japanese models as well as world-renowned artists. Due to COVID-19, it will be held online again this year following last year.
Apoki will premiere the Japanese version of the newly released single "Coming Back" at this event. Since February last year, Apoki has been continuously releasing singles, pioneering a new genre called virtual K-pop.
