Starting from the 16th, In-Person and Registered Mail Applications
For Diesel Vehicle Conversion and New Car Buyers, etc.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is promoting this year's support project for converting children's school buses to LPG vehicles.
To reduce fine dust and protect children's health, a subsidy of 7 million KRW per vehicle will be provided for 8 vehicles this year as well.
Eligible recipients are those who deregister or scrap diesel vehicles registered in Hapcheon-gun and purchase new LPG medium-sized passenger cars or vans with 9 to 15 seats for use as children's school buses, including those who have reported or plan to report children's school buses and joint vehicle owners.
Until the end of this year, subsidies can be received even if applying to purchase a new LPG children's school bus regardless of whether the old vehicle is scrapped.
Support will be provided from the 16th until the budget is exhausted, and if the number of applicants exceeds the project quota, selection will be made according to priority.
Applications can be submitted in person at the Environmental Department's Air Management Division of the county office or by registered mail, and the subsidy will be paid to the applicant's account under their name within 30 days from the date of receipt of the subsidy application.
