Kyowon Wells Helps Newlyweds Sleep Well with Advanced Sleep Tech
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Kyowon Group's health appliance brand Wells is accelerating its market penetration by introducing new sleep tech products to capture the demand for the "sleep economy" (sliponomics) that has spread in the wedding market.
Wells launched a "sleep care mattress," becoming the first in the rental industry to offer sleep tech devices that manage sleep health. The sleep care mattress lineup is equipped with the "Wells Internet of Things (IoT) Sleep Gear," which monitors sleep conditions such as snoring and irregular breathing in real time. The collected data is automatically transmitted to the Wells IoT application, allowing users to check their sleep status daily.
There are six types of sleep care mattresses capable of measuring sleep conditions: ▲ the "Motion Bed" with an ergonomic 5-segment frame ▲ the "Wave Mattress," which uses eight air pockets with air pressure to help recover from fatigue and improve sleep disorders ▲ the premium "Spring Air Nature" mattress used in five-star hotels worldwide ▲ the cost-effective "Cozy Sleep," as well as the "Hybrid" and "Hybrid Plus."

The six mattress types can also create a more perfect sleep environment through integration with other devices. Compatible products include artificial intelligence (AI) speakers, smart lighting, and boilers, all of which can be operated via the Wells IoT app. Through IoT integration, users can set appropriate temperature and lighting, as well as music to aid sleep and waking, according to the sleep environment.
