Sponsored by Bando Construction, this contest, held for the third time this year, invites open submissions of drawings or photos themed around 'family,' capturing the meaning, love, memories, and episodes of family. The final winners will be selected through the evaluation of professional judges.
Entries can be submitted by sending the artwork along with the application form to the Bandocultural Foundation's email by March 25. Anyone residing in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas can participate. The contest is divided into two categories: drawing (children's division/general division) and photography. The winning works will be announced on the foundation's website in April. Detailed information such as artwork specifications can be found on the Bandocultural Foundation website.
A total of 30 main prize winners will be selected through the evaluation of professional judges, and a total prize money of 6 million KRW, certificates, and a collection of winning works will be awarded. Children's division honorable mentions in the drawing category will receive certificates of commendation and small gifts. The main prize-winning works will be exhibited along with an awards ceremony in May, during Family Month, at the Ivy Lounge Gallery of the Bandocultural Foundation located in Dongtan 2 New Town, Hwaseong City.
