The 'Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon)' YouTube channel's Gaseyeon Election Fraud Monitoring Team and others raised suspicions around 9 p.m. on the 9th, after the end of voting in the 20th presidential election, at the parking lot in front of Samsan World Gymnasium in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, claiming that 'unidentified men and women' were transferring the ballot box from 'Sangok 2-dong 4th polling station.'
They also claimed that the ballot box being transferred had the same number as a ballot box already moved to the counting center.
However, the personnel transferring the ballot boxes were election managers and counting observers, and due to congestion in front of the counting center, the ballot boxes were unloaded nearby and transported on foot. A Bupyeong District Election Commission official explained on-site, "The ballot boxes were transferred accompanied by observers and police, and the political party (People Power Party) also acknowledged there was no problem," adding, "Blocking the transfer of ballot boxes inside is an obstruction of election duties."
Despite the Election Commission's explanation, about 200 conservative YouTubers and supporters gathered in front of the counting center that day to block the transfer of ballot boxes. Occasionally shouting "election fraud," they confronted Election Commission officials and police for over six hours.
Eventually, by around 2:30 a.m. on the 10th, counting was completed for 111 out of 112 polling stations in Bupyeong-gu, except for one ballot box from 'Sangok 2-dong 4th polling station.' After about seven and a half hours of standoff, the ballot box was transferred inside the counting center around 4:30 a.m.
