Kyungdong Pharmaceutical Donates 100 Million Won to Residents Affected by Wildfires
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Kyungdong Pharmaceutical announced on the 8th that it donated 100 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea, known as Sarangui Yeolmae, to support residents affected by wildfires in Uljin, Samcheok, and other areas.
This is a special fundraising campaign conducted by Sarangui Yeolmae to help wildfire victims. The donation will be delivered to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, a specialized disaster relief organization. The funds will be used to restore wildfire-affected areas and support the residents.
Kyungdong Pharmaceutical CEO Ryu Gi-seong said, "Many people are suffering due to the large-scale wildfires that occurred in Uljin, Samcheok, and other areas. Although it is a small amount, we hope it provides help and comfort to those affected."
