49th Floor 'Guri Landmark Tower' Passes Central Investment Review... Completion in 2025
Total Area of 81,186㎡... Cultural and Sports Complex Facility
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that the "Guri Landmark Tower Construction Project" was conditionally approved at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's first local finance central investment review of 2022 held on the 4th.
According to the city, the project site is located in the prime area near Guri Station, attracting visitors and revitalizing the local commercial district.
With a project cost of approximately 340 billion KRW, a complex facility including cultural and sports facilities will be constructed by 2025, consisting of 4 basement floors and 49 above-ground floors (total area of 81,186㎡).
Previously, the city decided to promote the 'Guri Landmark Tower' as a public-private joint development on the long undeveloped site at 673-1 Inchang-dong, selecting the KB Consortium as the private developer in July 2020.

An Seung-nam, mayor of Guri City, stated, "With the approval from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's central investment review, we can now actively proceed with the Guri Landmark Tower project," adding, "We will reflect the conditional review results and aim to start construction within this year."
