Online First-Come, First-Served Applications Start at 10 AM on the 8th
From the 14th to 24th at Gyeongnam and Seobu College Admission Information Centers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education will provide information related to the 2023 university admission process and offer customized counseling for high school seniors and their parents to help them prepare for the new semester.
The customized admission counseling will be held from the 14th to the 24th at the ‘Gyeongnam University Admission Information Center’ from 4:40 PM to 9:00 PM.
At the ‘Seobu University Admission Information Center,’ counseling will also take place from the 14th to the 24th of this month, from 4:40 PM to 9:00 PM.
260 high school seniors and their parents will be recruited online on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications can be submitted starting at 10:00 AM on the 8th through the Gyeongnam University Admission Information Center website.
Students and parents without a website account must sign up first and then click apply in the application section.
Counseling sessions will last 40 minutes per person, providing guidance on the characteristics of university-specific admission processes changing from the 2023 academic year and customized preparation methods for university entrance.
The counseling will include topics such as preparation for university admission in the first semester of the third year, effective school life methods for each admission type, and how to utilize the College Scholastic Ability Test when applying for early and regular admissions?topics that students and parents are curious about.
The counseling will be conducted by a university admission expert committee composed of local admission specialist teachers, along with scholarship officers and counseling teachers from the Gyeongnam and Seobu University Admission Information Centers.
An education office official said, “Since experienced field teachers with rich admission guidance experience will participate, we will provide various admission information to help students confidently prepare for the new semester.”
The Gyeongnam University Admission Information Center stated, “To prevent COVID-19 infection, we will conduct counseling safely by assigning individual counseling times, disinfecting before and after counseling, installing partitions inside counseling rooms, and requiring masks and face shields.”
