The Michuhol Police Station in Incheon announced on the 7th that they have taken into custody without detention a father and son, Mr. A in his 60s and Mr. B in his 20s, on charges of special assault and are investigating the case.
They are accused of stabbing each other with a weapon and causing injuries at an officetel in Sungui-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, around 5 p.m. the previous day.
According to the investigation, Mr. A threatened his wife with a weapon during a marital dispute, and Mr. B, the second son, was injured in the process of trying to stop him. The eldest son, who reported the incident, stated, "During the marital dispute, my father threatened with a weapon, and my younger brother was injured while trying to intervene."
At the time, Mr. A had stab wounds on his chest and hand, and Mr. B was found collapsed with stab wounds on his chest and left eye area. The wife was also found injured and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Currently, all three are in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.
