[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Park Chan-jin, Deputy Secretary General of the National Election Commission, stated on the 6th that he would humbly accept the various criticisms raised during the early voting process.
Deputy Secretary General Kim made these remarks while attending the National Election Commission's briefing on current issues related to the early voting controversy held at the National Assembly that day. The meeting was attended by Seo Young-kyo, Chair of the Public Administration and Security Committee, along with Democratic Party lawmakers Baek Hye-ryun and Lee Hae-sik, and People Power Party lawmakers Park Wan-soo and Lee Young.
Deputy Secretary General Kim said, "We fully accept 100% of what the lawmakers have said today," adding, "The National Election Commission has once again gathered and considered the opinions of practical staff from city and provincial committees, created two proposals regarding voting for confirmed and quarantined individuals, and convened an emergency committee meeting at 10 a.m. tomorrow."
