On the same day, Yeo stated in a post on her Facebook, "Yesterday (the 3rd), Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, sent me a text message with an appointment letter naming me as 'Chairperson of the External Cooperation Subcommittee of the Special Committee on National Happiness and Welfare under the Organization Headquarters of the People Power Party's Election Countermeasures Headquarters.'"
She continued, "This is an act of insulting the Justice Party again, after we protested the rude and unreasonable appointment letter sent just four days ago. It is an act of mocking the citizens who support the Justice Party," and criticized, "It is an act that tramples on citizens' requests not to illegally or unfairly misuse or infringe on personal information through indiscriminate issuance of appointment letters."
She emphasized, "On behalf of the Justice Party members, citizens who support the Justice Party, and democratic citizens protesting illegal and illicit acts in the election campaign, I strongly urge candidate Yoon to issue a public apology," and added, "I also call for a public apology from Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, who nominated the candidate and must take political responsibility for him."
Furthermore, she concluded her post by saying, "I have no affection to interfere with the old-fashioned and bad habits of the People Power Party. However, illegal and illicit acts during the election campaign and insults to political organizations threaten and mock democracy itself, so I will never overlook this," and demanded, "Issue a public apology immediately."

Earlier, on the 28th of last month, Yeo had also received an appointment letter via text message from the People Power Party as 'Advisory Member of the Future Promise Committee of the Religious Organization Cooperation Division under the Functional General Headquarters of the Election Countermeasures Headquarters.'
In response, Lee Dong-young, chief spokesperson of the Justice Party, criticized in a briefing, calling it "absurd" and "the very embodiment of ignorance, lacking even the basic courtesy and propriety of politics." He also pointedly told candidate Yoon and the People Power Party, "No matter how urgent the election is, you must distinguish right from wrong properly."
