Major foreign media outlets such as CNN, citing the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, reported that an airstrike occurred near the Kyiv TV Tower, killing five and injuring five. This happened shortly after Russia warned it would carry out precision strikes on information security facilities in the capital, Kyiv.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed this in a statement, saying, "Channels will not operate for the time being." However, backup broadcasts for some channels are expected to be activated soon. Photos and videos are continuously being uploaded on major social media platforms.
