Yeongam-gun Conducts Detailed Safety Inspection of Indoor Gymnasium
Establishment of Repair and Reinforcement Plans Based on Inspection Results
[Yeongam = Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will conduct a detailed safety inspection of the aging public sports facility, Yeongam Indoor Gymnasium.
This detailed safety inspection is scheduled to be carried out by the end of next month through prior collaboration with the county's Public Relations and Sports Division.
Additionally, based on the inspection results, a repair and reinforcement plan will be established, and if urgent measures are necessary, immediate safety actions will also be taken.
The Yeongam Indoor Gymnasium received a B grade (Good) in the inspection conducted in the second half of last year.

Meanwhile, according to the Special Act on the Safety and Maintenance of Facilities, sports facility buildings with a total area of 5,000 square meters or more must undergo regular safety inspections twice a year and detailed safety inspections every 1 to 4 years depending on the inspection grade.
