Dr.G Launches Two Scalp Lab Shampoo and Treatment Products
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Dr.G, a brand under Gounsesang Cosmetic, announced on the 28th that it has launched the Derma Hair line ‘Scalp Lab’ for itchy and sensitive scalps, releasing two products: ‘Scalp Lab Scaling Shampoo’ and ‘Scalp Lab Massage Treatment.’
Scalp Lab offers derma scalp skincare born from Dr.G’s 20 years of derma skincare expertise combined with specialized scalp and hair research. Both newly released products are low-irritant, mildly acidic formulas containing skincare derma ingredients and hair-specialized derma ingredients, helping to maintain itchy and sensitive scalps as healthily as facial skin.
The Scalp Lab Scaling Shampoo is a 2-in-1 low-irritant scaling product that functions as both shampoo and scalp scaling treatment. It contains liquid salt from Guerande, France, which helps scale the scalp without irritation by removing scalp keratin and ultrafine dust. The mildly acidic formula uses amino acid-based surfactants, which also help relieve itching on sensitive scalps. The consumer price is 24,000 KRW.
The Scalp Lab Massage Treatment is a silicone-free, mildly acidic product that does not clog scalp pores, allowing nutrition to reach the hair roots. Like the shampoo, it contains Kera-Guard and plant-based oil ingredients that coat damaged hair, making it smooth and elastic. Instead of harsh scrub particles, it includes liquid salt from Guerande, France, along with BHA, PHA, and LHA for scalp scaling care, and it is a functional product for alleviating hair loss symptoms. The price is 18,000 KRW, and both products are sold through the official Dr.G online store.
