NewMed strives to develop natural materials with beneficial functionalities for the human body and to create high-quality, safe food products. The company was incorporated in 2003 and has maintained stable sales growth since 2016. Last year, sales increased by approximately 40% compared to the previous year. Focusing on the technological commercialization of research capabilities that can commercialize natural materials, NewMed is concentrating on securing a research and development pipeline.
The company has set a goal this year to apply for individual recognition of functional ingredients such as those that help reduce body fat and improve prostate health. The company expects quantitative growth as products containing the height growth health functional ingredient complex (HT042) with Astragalus extract continue to grow, and sellers of products with the stomach health individually recognized ingredient complex (HT074) with peony extract are beginning to launch products in earnest.
