According to Gwangju University on the 27th, in the final of the '58th Spring College Football Federation Championship' held at Tongyeong Public Stadium in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam, they won against Jungwon University in a penalty shootout battle.
Gwangju University, which advanced to the round of 16 as the first in their group during the preliminary round of this tournament, defeated Honam University (2-1) in the round of 16 and Catholic Kwandong University (1-0) in the quarterfinals to reach the semifinals.
Gwangju University advanced to the final by winning the semifinal match against Dong-eui University in a penalty shootout, and also won the final against Jungwon University with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory.
