Canada Joins Sanctions on Russia's Putin and Foreign Minister... "Greatest Responsibility"

On the 25th (local time), according to major foreign media, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced at a press conference that President Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have been added to the sanctions list. He pointed out, "They bear the greatest responsibility for the destruction and deaths that occurred in Ukraine."
He also added that sanctions would be imposed on the leaders of Belarus, who are cooperating with Russia. Those listed on the sanctions list will face measures such as asset freezes if they have assets in Canada.
Along with this, Prime Minister Trudeau expressed support for the plan to expel Russia from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) payment network.
