Lan Winery is a representative winery in the Rioja region, famous as a leader in trendy winemaking through a harmony of traditional and modern methods. It adheres to eco-friendly sustainable farming practices, maintaining high-quality grape conditions by conducting the entire process from cultivation to harvest manually, while excluding the possibility of environmental pollution caused by the use of large agricultural machinery.
It is also known for strict wine grading regulations. Reserva wines require a minimum of 3 years of aging, and Gran Reserva requires at least 5 years of aging. Lan Mencion Reserva is a 2016 vintage that underwent 18 months of oak aging and 21 months of bottle aging, while Lan Mencion Gran Reserva is a 2012 vintage wine aged 24 months in oak and 36 months in bottle.
