Hana Bank "Refurbishing Work Tablets to Provide to Underprivileged Children"
Support of 500 Tablet PCs for Digitally Disadvantaged Children Domestically and Abroad
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Hana Bank is refurbishing work tablets previously used by its employees to provide them to underprivileged children.
On the 18th, Hana Bank announced that it will implement this tablet PC support project as part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.
Accordingly, Hana Bank plans to convert 500 work tablets used by its employees in the field into educational tablets after malfunction inspections, resets, and software updates, and then support domestic community child centers as well as study rooms abroad in Myanmar, the Philippines, and other countries.

A representative from Hana Bank’s ESG Planning Section stated, "As non-face-to-face education has become widespread recently, we decided to carry out the tablet PC support project to improve the educational environment for underprivileged children. We hope that this support project will establish a resource circulation system within Hana Bank and spread a culture of sharing that delivers hope."
