Lexus Korea Participates in the '2022 Seoul Living Design Fair'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Lexus Korea announced on the 17th that it will participate in the ‘2022 Seoul Living Design Fair’ held at COEX, Samseong-dong from the 23rd to the 27th, presenting the future vision of crafts.
At the Lexus booth, under the concept of ‘Living (RE-BEING), a life reconsidering the environment,’ works by artists selected as the 2022 Lexus Creative Masters will be unveiled, along with a total of 16 works by past Lexus Creative Masters artists on display.
In particular, the 2022 selected works, revealed for the first time, focus on the theme of ‘Re(RE-)’ for the Earth facing a crisis due to rapidly progressing climate change. These works transform easily discarded everyday materials such as briquette ash, Styrofoam, waste clothing, and plastic bags into crafts, reflecting concerns about the environment and future from the perspective of carbon neutrality.
Visitors to the Lexus booth can experience a new exhibition viewing method called ‘Zero Level.’ This booth, which actively uses eco-friendly and recyclable materials, features low-height display stands to minimize exhibition waste. This allows visitors to lower their posture and view the works from their preferred angles, directly participating in carbon neutrality activities through their actions. Additionally, customers who purchase Creative Masters works at the Lexus booth during the fair will receive a 10% discount.
Furthermore, Lexus will specially exhibit the ‘LF-Z Electrified,’ an electric vehicle (BEV) concept car symbolizing the transformation of the Lexus brand, for the first time in Korea. This concept car presents Lexus’s vision for electric vehicles with its futuristic exterior design, open and minimal interior space, new four-wheel-drive technology called Direct4, and AI-based concierge functions that learn the driver’s preferences and behavioral characteristics.
