Hansung Cleantec Wins 35.4 Billion KRW Construction Contract from SK Hynix
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] E&C Corporation announced on the 17th that its subsidiary Hanseong Cleantec has secured a construction contract worth 35.4 billion KRW from SK Hynix. This amount corresponds to approximately 22% of the previous year's expected sales.
Hanseong Cleantec, a water treatment design, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, will build the wastewater treatment system at SK Hynix's Cheongju facility. With this contract, Hanseong Cleantec will achieve its largest-ever performance in constructing wastewater treatment plants in the semiconductor sector. This is significant as it presents an opportunity to diversify major clients and expand business.
A company representative stated, "We secured the contract by being recognized for our decades of accumulated water treatment expertise, project execution capabilities, and technical skills," adding, "With continuous investments in semiconductor and display facilities this year, the outlook for new orders remains positive."
