The LG UltraGear gaming laptop (model name: 17G90Q) is a product that combines overwhelming performance optimized for high-spec games with design and user convenience, and it received the CES 2022 Innovation Award. It features a 17.3-inch (approximately 44cm diagonal) large IPS display with a 1ms (one-thousandth of a second) response time, delivering smooth and clear expression of rapidly changing content, scenes, and videos. It also supports a refresh rate of up to 300Hz, showing up to 300 frames per second.
This product is equipped with NVIDIA’s high-performance laptop graphics card (RTX™ 3080) and Intel’s latest 11th generation processor (Tiger Lake H). It applies a vapor chamber cooling system that quickly lowers heat over a wide area, providing a fast and comfortable environment even when running high-spec games for extended periods.
A slim design with a thickness of only 21.4mm at its thickest part is also a strength. Despite having a large-capacity 93Wh battery, it weighs only about 2.6kg, making it convenient to carry. The memory and storage (SSD) each support dual channels, offering excellent expandability.
The stereo speakers equipped in the product apply the 3D sound technology 'DTS:X Ultra' to provide users with immersive sound. The full-size keyboard, including the numeric keypad, features backlighting that allows users to change the color of each key according to their preference. Additionally, by using the dedicated gaming software ‘LG UltraGear Studio,’ users can easily adjust hardware performance such as CPU and GPU to suit the game.
LG Electronics will conduct pre-orders for the new LG UltraGear gaming laptop from the 17th of this month until the 7th of next month at nationwide electronics stores including LG Electronics Best Shops and official online retailers. Customers who participate in the pre-order will receive an UltraGear gaming speaker (model name: GP9) and a gaming mouse as gifts. The domestic shipment price is 5,490,000 KRW (based on the model equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3080 graphics card).
