Gyeonggi Office of Education Recruiting 'MC, Reporter, and Investigative Journalist' for Grades 7 to 12
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is recruiting program hosts (MCs), reporters, and journalists to participate in its own youth broadcasting station activities for students from the first year of middle school to the second year of high school in the province.
On the 15th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced that the youth broadcasting station's "Media Listening" program is recruiting students to serve as ▲ hosts for various online debates or comprehensive programming ▲ reporters for school or local news programs ▲ and those responsible for discovering news topics and writing articles after reporting.
The recruitment targets are middle and high school students in the province as well as youths of the same age residing in the province. Applications can be submitted online (https://han.gl/NQSoo) by the 20th of this month.
The number of recruits this time is around 50. Successful candidates will work as program hosts, reporters, and journalists at the youth broadcasting station from March to December this year. The Gyeonggi Office of Education will conduct interviews with applicants and select the final successful candidates.
Na Iyung, spokesperson for the Gyeonggi Office of Education, emphasized, "As personal broadcasting becomes more active, students are increasingly interested in media activities and communicate through various channels," adding, "We will strive to ensure that Media Listening plays a significant role as a platform for youth public opinion formation in the province."
