'Do You Support the Nuclear Power Plant in Our Neighborhood?'
On the 14th, the 2022 Anti-Nuclear Presidential Election Coalition held a campaign near Seoul City Hall titled "Do You Support the Construction of Nuclear Power Plants in Our Neighborhood?" The campaign was organized to condemn major presidential candidates' nuclear power pledges, including the resumption of construction for Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4. Starting with this event, the Anti-Nuclear Presidential Election Coalition plans to conduct campaigns at Gangnam Station, Yeouido Hyundai Department Store, Hongdae Entrance Station, Gwanghwamun, and other locations until the 18th. The campaign asks citizens whether they support or oppose having nuclear power plants built in their residential areas. The 2022 Anti-Nuclear Presidential Election Coalition is an organization formed by the alliance of 73 environmental civic groups nationwide, including the Korean Federation for Environmental Movements and Energy Justice Action.
