Lee Jae-myung: "Yoon Seok-yeol, Cementing Political Retaliation, Truly Regrettable"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Ji-hwan] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized Yoon Seok-yeol, the candidate of the People Power Party, for his remark on the 'investigation of the current government's deep-rooted evils' on the 12th, saying, "Are you trying to change tomorrow through political revenge?"
On the same day, Lee wrote on his Facebook, "Candidate Yoon still has not apologized for political revenge," adding, "Rather, it seems he is further solidifying his intention for political revenge, which is truly deplorable."
Lee pointed out, "(Candidate Yoon) stuck solely to negativity during yesterday's debate without proposing any solutions to the people's livelihood issues." He criticized, "What can we expect from a candidate who opposes and discards the opposing camp's policies unconditionally and only seeks political revenge?"
He said, "Candidate Yoon said he would become a 'president who changes tomorrow,'" and emphasized, "Political revenge cannot change tomorrow. Do not just brush it off; reflect on and apologize for your political revenge remarks."

The prospect of making a living tomorrow is bleak." He further explained, "Even if we gather all national capabilities such as talent and policies to overcome the crisis, it will not be enough," and concluded, "I hope you keep in mind that what is needed now is unity and reconciliation, not revenge and division."
