On the morning of the 11th, Candidate Yoon announced this pledge as the 37th promise in his "Seok-yeol's Heart-Throbbing Promise" series through a press release. He stated, "The current 5-year validity period for official test scores, which applies only to some public servant recruitments (grade 5, grade 7, diplomats, etc.), will be expanded to cover all public sector recruitments including specific positions. Through providing incentives, we will encourage private companies to autonomously extend the validity period of official test scores, thereby reducing the burden on examinees and job seekers."
He continued, "As the job market has significantly frozen, the preparation period for job seekers has also lengthened accordingly. Since the validity period of official test scores is usually only about 2 years, the burden on young people who must succeed in employment or passing exams before their scores expire inevitably increases."

He added, "According to a survey by the Ministry of Personnel Management, about 75.1% of examinees surveyed support extending the validity period of English and foreign language official test scores." Furthermore, "Since it becomes impossible to inquire about test scores from language test institutions after 2 years, if scores are pre-registered through the Ministry of Personnel Management's Cyber National Examination Center before then, a system will be established to manage scores under government guarantee for 5 years," he explained, revealing specific implementation plans.
