At this meeting, President Lee and Head Yoon will raise the issue of the judgment made during the men's 1000m short track semifinal on the 7th. At that time, the national team’s Hwang Dae-heon (Gangwon Provincial Office) and Lee Jun-seo (Korea National Sport University) finished first and second in their heat but were penalized by the referees with questionable decisions, resulting in their elimination. The benefit of the disqualification went to the Chinese team. In the final, China also won the gold medal (Ren Ziwei) and silver medal (Li Wenlong) amid controversial judgments that were difficult to accept.
