View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Mesh Korea (CEO Yoo Jung-beom), operator of 'Boorung,' announced on the 9th that it will collaborate with autonomous serving robot company Bear Robotics Korea to solve the challenging last-mile delivery.
Through this agreement, Mesh Korea plans to deploy Bear Robotics' autonomous robots in locations with high last-mile delivery difficulty, such as high-rise apartments and buildings, and park-style large apartment complexes. Through this, various experiments will be conducted to support deliveries that existing delivery workers have found difficult.
Both companies focused on the increasingly challenging logistics environment of last-mile delivery. For example, high-rise buildings are known as places where delivery workers express difficulty in performing their tasks due to inefficient delivery times. By supporting deliveries in inefficient areas with autonomous robots, it is expected that both the work efficiency and satisfaction of delivery workers can be improved simultaneously.
