On the 7th, Lee said in a press release, "It will be one month on the 11th since the collapse disaster of the outer wall of Hwajeong I-Park in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, but the buried workers have still not returned to their families, and the cause of the accident has not been identified."
He continued, "Despite this situation, Hyundai Development Company (hereinafter referred to as Hyunsan), the construction company, consistently shifts the cause of the accident to subcontractors, and recently, it has drawn criticism for mobilizing all corporate capabilities to win reconstruction projects."
He added, "Hyunsan should be focusing on recovering the buried workers and taking care of their families, but it is showing a focus only on profit," and condemned, "Hyunsan, which has abandoned even the minimum corporate ethics, must be prepared to be expelled from the market."
He also emphasized, "To hold Hyunsan appropriately accountable, a strict police investigation must be conducted."
