Emart Offers Up to 30% Discount on Chocolates for Valentine's Day Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Emart is holding a special event featuring various chocolates and desserts until the 16th in anticipation of Valentine's Day.
More than 130 products, ranging from premium European chocolates from Belgium and Italy to Peacock, No Brand chocolates, and character chocolates, are showcased at a special event venue, with various customer benefits such as discounts based on purchase amounts and linked purchase discounts prepared.
First, Emart offers up to 30% discount coupons for chocolates on the Valentine's Day event page within the Emart app. The coupons apply to all chocolate products (excluding No Brand and Peacock) with 10%, 20%, and 30% discounts for purchases over 10,000 KRW, 20,000 KRW, and 30,000 KRW respectively. Customers can download the coupons from the Emart app and present them at the checkout to receive the discount.
Additionally, as the ‘Strawberry Choco Fondue,’ which involves dipping strawberries into melted chocolate, gains popularity, an event offers a 1,000 KRW discount when purchasing strawberries and Lotte ABC chocolate dark (400g) and milk (187g) simultaneously. In fact, the simultaneous purchase rate of strawberries and chocolate in January this year was 9.4%, more than three times higher than 2.8% in the second half of last year.
Belgian premium chocolates such as Godiva, Guylian, Galler, Belgian, and Belpine offer an additional 20% discount when purchasing two or more. For this Valentine's Day event, Emart is importing and selling six types of Godiva chocolates, including ‘Godiva 72% Dark Chocolate 90g,’ for the first time through parallel imports.
Moreover, various products tailored to customer preferences have been prepared, such as the ‘Lotte Janmang Loopy Pouch and Keyring Set (25,380 KRW),’ exclusively collaborated with the popular character Janmang Loopy, and the ‘KitKat Toy Film Camera Pack (24,980 KRW).’
Furthermore, Emart has partnered with Shinsegae L&B to offer a 30% discount on Australian dessert wines until the 2nd of next month for this Valentine's Day.
The representative ‘Wolf Blass Red Label Tawny’ is a wine from the winery ‘Wolf Blass,’ established in 1966, which exports to over 60 countries worldwide and boasts more than 10,000 cumulative awards. It is planned to be sold at a 30% discount for 11,060 KRW with 7,200 bottles available.
Featuring sweet aromas of raisins and maple, the nuttiness of nuts, and a mellow chocolate finish, it is expected to create a splendid home drinking wine table when paired with sweet desserts such as tarts with walnuts or fruits and chocolates.
