[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Cho Min (31), the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, has filed a lawsuit against a netizen who raised suspicions of failing grades regarding her rejection from the residency program at Myeongji Hospital in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the police on the 5th, Cho recently submitted a complaint to the Dobong Police Station in Seoul against netizen A. The charge is defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.
In December of last year, Cho applied for the emergency medicine residency at Myeongji Hospital but was rejected. Regarding this, netizen A posted on an online community that Cho failed the residency due to insufficient grades.

He also refuted netizen A's claim by stating that his daughter answered 72 out of 100 questions correctly, indicating the claim was not true.
