Yeongyang-gun announced on the 5th that it is planning the 17th Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Festival as a non-face-to-face event this May and is establishing safety measures for quarantine and the festival system.
The Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Festival has been held annually since 2005, except for 2020 when it was canceled due to COVID-19, and is a representative festival of Yeongyang-gun. Last year, due to difficulties in holding face-to-face festivals amid COVID-19, the event was converted to online activities such as a special sale on Saiso Mall, YouTube broadcasts, and live commerce.
The 17th festival scheduled for this May plans to organize the non-face-to-face online event more substantively to establish a safe and healthy festival system.
Judges from the Gyeongsang Province Regional Festival Review Committee gave positive evaluations of the Wild Vegetable Festival.
