Uniqlo Launches 'Spring·Summer Collection'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Uniqlo launched the 'Uniqlo U 2022 S/S Season Collection' on the 4th.
Uniqlo U is a collection presented annually by world-renowned fashion designer and Uniqlo's artistic director Christopher Lemaire in collaboration with Uniqlo's Paris Research & Development (R&D) Center.
This season features the theme of 'Rhythm of Spring,' capturing liveliness and lightness. The collection focuses on essential items that add comfort, mobility, and flexibility to everyday life. The pure lines and restrained silhouettes convey simplicity, while the light, easy-to-wear jackets with lively vibes and generous silhouettes express a sense of freedom and relaxation. The color palette highlights warm neutrals, olive, sand inspired by sunset hues, and the accent color taro purple.
The women's lineup offers a relaxed oversized silhouette suitable for layering and roomy bags that provide a sense of freedom. Jackets and coats are highly practical and versatile for any setting. Essential T-shirts and dresses are made from AIRism cotton and jersey materials, while denim items and round silhouette overshirts create an overall soft atmosphere.
The men's lineup combines simple design with refined techniques, making the items highly functional not only for urban daily life but also for travel. Jackets are perfect as lightweight outerwear for office workers' commutes. Striped summer T-shirts are ideal for wearing at the beach. For kids, key items have been restructured with more relaxed silhouettes to accommodate active children.
