Amore's Eldest Daughter Seo Minjeong Transfers to Luxury Cosmetics Brand Department
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Seo Minjeong, the eldest daughter of Seo Kyungbae, chairman of Amorepacific Group, has left the Group Strategy Office and transferred to the luxury cosmetics brand AP (Amorepacific) team.
According to industry sources on the 4th, Seo has been working in the AP team within the Amorepacific Luxury Brand Division since January 1 of this year.
The division is responsible for Amorepacific's luxury cosmetics brands. Luxury cosmetics account for more than 50% of Amorepacific's sales, making it a core department.
The AP team that Seo joined mainly handles the brand "Amorepacific," which shares the company's name. Although Amorepacific has lower recognition compared to the company's flagship brands Sulwhasoo and Hera, it is considered a key luxury brand within the group. Seo will oversee overall management, including marketing, of the luxury cosmetics brand in her new department.
Previously, Seo joined Amorepacific as an experienced employee in January 2017 and gained experience in the Beauty Sales Strategy Headquarters and the Group Strategy Office.
Currently, Amorepacific has eliminated all ranks below team leader, so Seo holds no separate rank.

An Amorepacific official said, "This year, Seo moved from the Group Strategy Office to the AP team and will mainly be in charge of the Amorepacific brand."
