"Valentine's Day, How About Enjoying It at a Hotel?" Chosun Hotel & Resort Unveils Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Chosun Hotel & Resort will present various promotions to celebrate a romantic day with couples in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju on the upcoming Valentine's Day, February 14.
First, Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam, a top-tier hotel under Chosun Hotel & Resort's Luxury Collection (hereafter Chosun Palace), will launch three types of Valentine's Day cakes made only with the finest ingredients.
The ‘Macaron Tower Special Cake,’ designed to resemble a cherry blossom tree, features macarons that deepen in pink color as they ascend, fully expressing the feeling of cherry blossoms. Sugar-made butterfly decorations symbolize the excitement of the coming spring and Valentine's Day. The cake's layers consist of three types of sponge: vanilla, light pink, and pink, complemented by refreshing cherry compote and smooth white ganache cream. Reservations must be made at least three days in advance, and the price is 220,000 KRW.
The ‘Heart Mousse Cake’ is lavishly decorated with gold leaf to add a luxurious touch. When cut in half, the cross-section reveals layers of white chocolate mousse with orange zest, raspberry and peach jelly, and French chocolate cream. The soft mousse and rich chocolate aroma blend to deliver a deep, mellow sweetness and the refreshing tartness of the jelly simultaneously. The price is 80,000 KRW.
The ‘Valentine Heart Tart’ is decorated with meringue, macarons, golden raspberries, and blueberries on a heart-shaped crust. Filled with French white raspberry chocolate whipped ganache in a droplet shape and accented with raspberry compote for a balanced flavor, it also contains Madagascar vanilla beans, offering a smooth and deep taste. The price is 60,000 KRW.
At The Westin Chosun Seoul, two types of cakes will be available from February 4 to 14. Reservations must be made three days in advance.
The ‘Silhouette Lady Cake’ depicts a woman wearing a dress decorated with pink cream in silhouette form, symbolizing a messenger of love confessing shy feelings. The cream, made by mixing three types?mascarpone vanilla cream, hazelnut chocolate cream, and others?is spread on a chocolate sponge, offering a luxurious sweetness. The price is 100,000 KRW.
The ‘Rose Heart Cake’ is embroidered with rose flowers and decorated with gold leaf for added elegance. The inside is coated with cream cheese cream, and the cake is wrapped in fresh cream over the signature Red Velvet from Chosun Deli, providing a much softer flavor. The price is 100,000 KRW.
The Westin Chosun Busan will offer the ‘Sweet Love’ cake from February 11 to March 14, which consists of layers of fresh cream and strawberries stacked and presented in a white chocolate box. The price is 60,000 KRW (tax included).
Grand Chosun Jeju will present the ‘Full of Love’ cake, filled with handmade heart-shaped macarons. The price is 68,000 KRW (tax included).
Four Points by Sheraton Chosun Myeongdong has prepared a ‘Romantic Holiday’ package available until Valentine's Day. It includes one night in a Superior room, one bottle of red wine, and one box of Pave fresh chocolates, starting at 112,750 KRW (tax included).
Grand Chosun Busan offers the ‘Starry Night Night’ package until March 31, allowing guests to enjoy bingsu and cocktails while overlooking the sea. The package includes one night’s stay, Compagnie de Provence amenities, a mini bingsu at the lounge bar, and two cocktails inspired by various movies, provided once per night. The package price starts at 280,000 KRW for a Deluxe room (tax excluded).
Various food and beverage promotions are also available. At the Mark d'Amour bar in the boutique hotel L'Escape, five special cocktails will be offered from February 7 to March 31.
The five cocktails are: ‘Rose of Love’ with pomegranate and coconut water; ‘Love Republic’ flavored with vodka, strawberry, almond, and lime; ‘Be My Valentine’ made with American whiskey, mint, cacao, and cream; ‘Kiss the Valentine’ containing tequila, watermelon, and passion fruit; and ‘Amor Amor’ with gin, grapefruit, elderflower, and soda water. The price is 29,000 KRW, and ‘Kiss the Valentine’ and ‘Amor Amor’ can be made non-alcoholic upon request.
At the buffet restaurant Evolution in Four Points by Sheraton Chosun Seoul Myeongdong, a special dinner will be offered to customers visiting on the day. It includes three types of appetizers, chestnut soup, tenderloin steak, dessert, coffee or tea, and one glass each of red wine and sparkling wine, available for 150,000 KRW for two people (tax included). Window seats are assigned in order of reservation, and only the first 30 groups will be accepted.
Additionally, Four Points by Sheraton Chosun Myeongdong and Four Points by Sheraton Chosun Seoul Station will offer ‘Love Bites,’ consisting of five special cocktails and a platter. The Seoul Station event runs from February 11 to 14, and Myeongdong from February 11 to 13.
