The Olympic Organizing Committee announced the results of COVID-19 tests conducted at the airport and within the "closed loop" (living and movement areas for event personnel) on the 3rd through their official website.
Among the athletes and coaching staff, 26 tested positive, and among other event personnel such as the press, 29 tested positive.
The number of confirmed cases on this day significantly increased compared to 24 on the 31st of last month and 32 on the 1st.
