Miryang City to Provide Child Allowance up to Age 8... Existing Allowance for Age 7 Automatically Renewed
Applications Accepted from February 9 to March 31
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Miryang City, Gyeongnam Province, will expand the child allowance from children aged 7 to those aged 8 starting this year.
Children born between February 1, 2014, and December 31, 2015, who had their child allowance stopped or will have it stopped upon turning 7, are scheduled to receive the child allowance on April 25.
Even if the child allowance was stopped due to age, if the guardian reapplied for the child allowance, they can receive an additional year’s payment without a separate application.
Miryang City plans to send notification letters in February to 713 eligible recipients to inform them of the details.
The period for information updates and applications is from February 9 to March 31. If account numbers or other details have changed since the previous application, guardians should contact the administrative welfare center in their town or township to update the relevant information.
If the child allowance has never been applied for, the guardian must apply directly to receive the allowance.
