KakaoBank Check Card Offers Up to 44,000 KRW Cashback Per Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] KakaoBank announced on the 3rd that it will run the 'Check Card Cashback Promotion Season 10,' offering cashback based on check card payment amounts until the end of July.
This event added new benefits for online shopping, academies, and golf industries. When paying 50,000 KRW or more at Coupang, newly added as a merchant, 3,000 KRW cashback is provided.
For online video services (OTT) such as 'Disney Plus' or 'Netflix,' a payment of 9,000 KRW or more will receive a 1,000 KRW refund.
In the golf industry or academy sectors including study materials, reading rooms, and driving schools, payments of 200,000 KRW or more will receive 10,000 KRW cashback.
Additionally, cashback benefits are offered at merchants such as ▲Beauty (Olive Young) ▲Delivery & Cafe (Baedal Minjok, Starbucks) ▲Fuel & Telecommunications (GS Caltex, mobile phone bills) ▲Travel & Movies (Yogi-yo, Lotte Cinema, Megabox).
The maximum monthly cashback limit is 44,000 KRW. The cashback promotion targets customers with a previous month's usage of 300,000 KRW or more, and each of the 12 benefit categories is provided once per month.
Cashback is deposited into the account linked to the check card on the 10th of the following month after use.
