BMW Korea Mirae Foundation Successfully Completes Child Care Gap Support Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] BMW Korea Future Foundation announced on the 3rd that it successfully completed the 2022 Winter Hope Sharing School program in collaboration with the non-governmental organization (NGO) Good Neighbors. This program is a social contribution activity sponsored by the foundation that supports children from vulnerable families who are at risk of care gaps during school vacations by assisting with health and learning.

This year, the program was conducted for two weeks starting in mid-January, targeting about 600 children from 30 schools and institutions nationwide. It provided lunch support and operated cultural experience programs, as well as career programs utilizing networks of local professionals. Participants also had time to realize the importance of environmental protection and to strengthen interpersonal and communication skills. Since the foundation first sponsored the Hope Sharing School in 2012, more than 59,000 people from 3,000 schools and institutions have participated.
