According to political circles on the 1st, Ahn’s family has decided to participate in medical volunteer activities at a public health center in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 2nd.
This will be the family’s first public event together immediately after Ahn Seol-hee’s self-quarantine period, following her return to Korea on the 23rd of last month, ends at noon on the 2nd. Ahn, a former doctor, and Professor Kim will be responsible for collecting COVID-19 test samples at the health center, while their daughter Ahn will handle administrative support tasks.

Ahn’s daughter, Ahn Seol-hee, is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at UC San Diego in the United States and gained attention for her research on COVID-19 infection pathways. She plans to actively support Ahn until she returns to the U.S. on the 5th. They are also considering scheduling COVID-19 lectures for middle and high school students shortly after the Lunar New Year holiday.
