According to the police on the 27th, Officer A, affiliated with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, has been under administrative leave since the 18th and is currently undergoing an internal investigation by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
It has been reported that Officer A leaked various investigation information, including whether to apply for an arrest warrant, to complainant lawyer B regarding a complaint case filed at the Gangnam Police Station in March of last year.
Additionally, there are allegations that Officer A received multiple meals and alcoholic drinks from lawyer B and requested information about cryptocurrency investments, and the police are currently verifying the facts.
