The Dong-Eui University LINC+ Project Group has been holding a competition every semester since 2019 for students enrolled in the Capstone Design course to strengthen field-oriented practical education and enhance students' problem-solving skills.
After the first round of document screening and the second round of team video presentations conducted remotely, one grand prize team, two excellence award teams, three merit award teams, four encouragement award teams, and five special award teams were selected.
The grand prize was awarded to the team "Urineun Hanajo" consisting of chemical engineering majors Kwak Sunyoung, Kim Minseok, Kim Seoyoung, Park Wonju, and Lee Ahhyun for their project "Waterproof Particle Board Using Barley Straw and Beeswax," receiving the President's Award and prizes worth 600,000 KRW.
Grand prize winner Kwak Sunyoung said, "We focused on utilizing discarded resources, eco-friendliness, and human safety in carrying out the project," adding, "Through the competition, I want to move beyond just ideas and proceed to commercialization by undergoing business feasibility evaluation."

The excellence awards were given to the "Baeksulgongju wa Daseot Nanjangi" team consisting of chemical engineering majors Ha Hyunsoo, Kim Sujin, Noh Hyungwon, Moon Taehun, Lee Jaewoo, and Jang Seokhyun, and the "PUZZLE" team consisting of applied chemistry majors Lee Jihyun, Sagong Bin, Jang Eunyoung, and Choi Minji.
