Korea-Russia Senior Nuclear Envoys Hold Phone Talks to "Prevent Further Deterioration"
The chief nuclear representatives of South Korea and Russia held a phone consultation and exchanged views on North Korea's recent missile launches.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 26th, in the afternoon, Noh Kyu-duk, Director General for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, and Igor Margulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia for Asia-Pacific and chief representative for the Six-Party Talks, held a telephonic consultation.
Both sides exchanged opinions on the recent situation on the Korean Peninsula, including North Korea's successive missile launches, and discussed cooperation measures between South Korea and Russia to prevent further deterioration of the situation.
