Gwangju TP Donates Dryer to Hope Didimdol Gwangju Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Technopark announced on the 26th that it donated three dryers to the Hope Didimdol Gwangju Center, a residential space supporting youth independence.
Since last year, Gwangju Technopark has recognized the need for interest and support for the stable independence of youth aging out of care and has been providing employment support, mentoring activities, and more.
This dryer donation involves Gwangju Technopark purchasing two dryers and local home appliance company Otek Carrier donating one dryer to the Hope Didimdol Gwangju Center, an independent living space for youth aging out of care, to provide convenience in residential life.
Kim Seon-min, Director of Gwangju Technopark, said, “We are pleased to support the social settlement of independent youth based on public-private cooperation by joining forces with local home appliance companies,” and added, “We will continue to strive to solve difficulties in the local community through win-win cooperation.”
