MG Insurance, 'Seol Holiday Food Sharing' Event Held
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] MG Insurance announced on the 26th that it conducted a donation of holiday food to underprivileged neighbors ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
On the 25th, MG Insurance donated rice cake soup packages to 100 households with disabilities in the district through the Seoul Northern Disabled Welfare Center located in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
To help neighbors prepare a bountiful Lunar New Year table, all ingredients for rice cake soup, including nutritious Korean beef soup meat, rice cake soup rice cakes, and beef bone broth, were delivered contactlessly.
Since last year, MG Insurance has been operating various donation activities contactlessly to prevent COVID-19 infections.
In addition to recent donations of warm winter supplies, the company has been leading the spread of contactless donation culture by conducting events such as White Cane Day sharing for the visually impaired, Chuseok holiday food sharing, and health food sharing for the midsummer season.
