[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nexon on the 26th unveiled key images representing the game concept of the new MMORPG ‘HIT2,’ developed by its subsidiary NetGames.
‘HIT2,’ currently in development by XH Studio under NetGames, is a mobile and PC multiplatform game set in the universe following the original ‘HIT.’ The core team behind ‘HIT’ and ‘Overhit’ is leading the development, aiming to continue NetGames’ RPG success story with this major upcoming title.
‘HIT2’ offers stylish action using the distinctive characters of ‘HIT’ within a highly open MMO environment. Players can enjoy large-scale battles as they compete with other territories and conquer castles under the narrative of growing to become a king.
The two newly released images showcase the central fortress of the siege battle, ‘Intera Castle,’ where immense wealth and ruling power are at stake, and the ‘Tria’ field encountered during the journey in ‘HIT2.’
Park Youngsik, the PD overseeing the development of ‘HIT2,’ stated, “‘HIT2’ will provide a new level of fun by granting players high authority to set the game’s rules themselves,” adding, “We are focusing our development capabilities to achieve a high level of completeness that meets the expectations of traditional MMORPG fans, so please look forward to it.”
Nexon plans to sequentially reveal major game content and service information aiming for the official release of ‘HIT2’ within 2022.
