Samsung Semiconductor Production Line Normalizes Following Lift of Controls in Shanxi Province, China
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Samsung Electronics' semiconductor production line at the Xi'an plant in China resumed normal operations on the 26th. This was due to improvements in the local COVID-19 quarantine situation.
Samsung Electronics announced that the semiconductor production line at the Xi'an plant, which had been operating flexibly since December last year to prioritize the safety and health of employees, returned to normal operations from this day. Shanxi Province, where the plant is located, lifted all lockdowns on three high-risk COVID-19 areas as of the 23rd and began economic normalization.
